Rachel Palis DVM
Rachel started working with Town and Country July 2015. Rachel was born and raised in Webster, NY and enjoyed summers at her grandparents cottage on Lake Ontario in Williamson, NY. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania where she was a field hockey goalie, as well as studied abroad in Scotland and Australia. She then went on to do her first 3 years of veterinary school at Ross University on the beautiful island of St. Kitts in the Caribbean. While there, Rachel was an avid SCUBA diver and was involved with research on sea turtles, sea urchins and artificial reef systems. She was also lucky enough to travel to South Africa to complete an internship in wildlife medicine. Rachel completed her final clinical year of vet school at Louisiana State University and graduated with her DVM in January 2015. Rachel lives with her two dogs, Diego and Harlo and her two cats, Feisty and Rowdy. Rachel loves going on adventures with her family and friends, spending time on the water and camping and hiking with her dogs any chance she gets.
Tricia is the Practice Manager and Marketing Director for our Town and Country Veterinary Clinics. She has worked in the veterinary business for 16 years, starting out as a Veterinary Assistant and then becoming Office Manager for a Veterinary Clinic in Old Forge NY. Tricia loves working with all animals and enjoys the business end of things too. Tricia has two daughters, Natalie and Lily, a Pomeranian, Toby, a Border Collie, Penny, and two guinea pigs, Pebbles and Bambam. In her spare time she looks forward to spending time with her family, hiking, canoeing, camping and spending as much time in the Adirondack Mountains as possible.
Having always worked in the education field, Bonnie is finding a wonderful change in coming to Town and Country Veterinary Clinic. She works in the Potsdam Office at the Reception Desk. Horses and pets have always been a part of her families lives. It has been an eye opener to be involved in animal health on the "other" side of the counter. She loves it!!
Ann Lasher LVT
Virginia Irish LVT
Virginia works in our Potsdam Office. She graduated from SUNY Canton Veterinary Technician Program and was licensed in 1999. For 9 years she worked on a 4000 head, heifer raising facility and milked over 2000 cows and cared for calves for 8 years. She joined the Town and Country team in January of 2015. Virginia has lived in Waddington NY her entire life and has a hobby farm with her husband John and son Matthew. On her little farm she has, horses, miniature donkeys, miniature horses, chickens, turkeys, ducks, button quail, cats and dogs. Her hobbies include, spending time with her family, horseback riding, hunting and ATVing. Asked what she likes best about her job, she will tell you, getting to see new patients every day, rooting and working for improvement in the tough cases and enjoying the comradery she has with her co-workers.
Kierston Greenwood LVT
Kiersten joined Town and Country in June of 2016. She received her A.A.S. Degree in Veterinary Science at SUNY Canton in May 2016. Kiersten and her fiance Jon, are in the process of building their first home! They have 2 dogs, Teddy and Otis, 5 cats, Kenna, Kato, Kazer, Keeley and the newest addition, Digit. Her hobbies include spending time with her family and pets. When asked what her favorite thing is about her job, she says that she loves learning something new every day.
