Dr. Moon, DVM

Dr. Moon joined the Town and Country team in June 2014 as an associate veterinarian. Dr. Moon is originally from Waterville, NY and is happy to be back in NY state so she can spend more time with her family, especially her 4 young nephews and nieces. She did her undergraduate work at Cornell University, obtaining her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science. She went on to complete her first 3 years of vet school at St. George's University and completed her clinical year at University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has two dogs: Loki and Sage, four cats: Noah, Salem, Keller and Minion, and a rabbit named Aslan. She also loves to read and likes to get outside and go hiking and camping.

Dr. Hagelund, DVM

Dr. Hagelund, is a native of Northern New York. She attended Clarkson University to receive her undergraduate degree then moved to Arizona where she attended Midwestern University for vet school. Her clinical interests include nutrition, oncology and integrative medicine. Currently, Dr. Hagelund resides in Potsdam with her bloodhound Gertie. In her free time she enjoys yoga, hiking and traveling.

Appointment No-Show Policy

We appreciate your patience, understanding, and support. Like other vet clinics nationwide, we have seen a huge increase in demand for our services.
We try to see as many patients as we can, but unfortunately some patients still have to wait for an appointment. We keep a cancellation list of patients that need to be seen, but we still have some scheduled appointments that don't show up at their scheduled time, with no call to cancel (as we have always requested, if you are unable to make your appointment or are running late for any reason, please call and let us know as soon as you can).These "no call/no show" clients take valuable time away from other patients who need to be seen. A "no-call/no-show" is a client who misses an appointment without canceling it. A failure to be present at the time of a scheduled appointment will be recorded in the client's chart as a "NC/NS." If you NC/NS an appointment, in order to schedule your next appointment, you will be required to prepay the deposit (Office Call), which will then be put toward your next visit. If you NC/NS a second time, we Will take your deposit.

***Please also note starting January 1st 2023, that there will be a small increase in the price of vet care to reflect inflation and some additional overhead costs.
